Winemaking
The winemaking process of the 2021 Mount Veeder Grenache began with meticulous grape selection. Grapes were sourced from carefully tended vineyards on Mount Veeder, a region renowned for its unique terroir. Following fermentation, the wine was gently pressed to separate the liquid from the solids. The wine was then transferred to French Oak Puncheons for aging. A combination 2/3 new French and 1/3 neutral oak puncheons was utilized to impart subtle oak flavors and enhance the wine's complexity and structure.
